Also known as “granita” and “water ice,” Italian ice is a vibrant, intensely flavorful frozen treat that originated in Italy. It is a smooth and icy mixture of simple, quality ingredients that are handcrafted and mixed in a freezer like ice cream. Unlike traditional ice cream, however, it is a dairy-free dessert and vegan-friendly frozen treat. Unlike shaved ice, the ingredients in Italian ice are blended together and then frozen for consistent flavor in each and every spoonful.

It never gets old: The look of our new customers’ faces when they realize “Domi “ originates from namesake “Dominick,” our co-founder & CEO — affectionately known by Domi Italian Ice fans as “Mr. Domi.” Five years ago, entrepreneur Dominick, alongside his wife, Dr. Ayanna Walker, set out to build a business to support the local economy and get people helping each other out. After years of working in service industries, volunteering with youth organizations, traveling around the world and researching this unique product, they realized that a creative way to serve Italian Ice and do good for others didn't exist … So they created it! With that, Domi Italian Ice was born!
Our Italian Ice had to be the highest and best quality frozen dessert while being something for everyone’s tastebuds; and, as for our quality service, it had to be something that brings people together to do some good. At the heart of things, our team believes that change starts in your community, so why not be a part of that positive change!
